They call it the most beautiful city in the world. And for good reason.
Pedestrian Venice with its canal pathways and gondola taxis is a marvel to be experienced again and again. The buzz of the visitors and the clamour of the shop keepers is a welcome break from the sirens, engines, horns and mayhem of Rome, Florence and Naples.
Venice is to be strolled in a casual manner, without objectives or a "must see" list. Meander along the canals and enjoy the tranquility of this city that is truly on the water (no cars).
IIItaly team members will point out the highlights, get you to St. Marks Square and monitor your dance with the pigeons. They will also slip you into glass blowing caverns and sign-less taverns.
